This is an annual event hosted by Siemens Solid Edge, bringing together experts and users in the CAD/CAM/CAE fields.
This is a grand celebration for engineers, featuring both depth and breadth. We not only previewed the latest features but also conducted live 3D printing demonstrations and exchanged ideas with peers from around the world, gaining invaluable insights.
The "Solid Edge University Taiwan" event, jointly hosted by Siemens Digital Industries Software Taiwan and Cadtech Co., Ltd., took place yesterday (18th) at the 3rd-floor International Hall of The Lin Hotel Taichung. Nearly 500 professionals attended, filling the venue to capacity. Manufacturers using Siemens industrial software also set up booths to interact directly with attendees.
Solid Edge 2025 highlights include AI assistant, the cloud platform "Solid Edge X," and "In-depth Sheet Metal Optimization," which inspired us in terms of structural optimization and cost control.
Expert case studies on industry trends and digital deployment showcased practical applications across various industries, helping attendees understand the importance of smart manufacturing.
Meanwhile, 3DMart utilized the breaks to interact with engineers and customers, offering practical applications for integrating Solid Edge with high-end 3D printing.

Bambu Lab 3D Printer
The Bambu Lab A1 Combo excels in high-speed, multi-material printing, boasting print speeds up to 500 mm/s and supporting various material changes such as PLA, ABS, and TPU.
The A1 features stable construction, easy operation, and functions like auto-calibration and smart monitoring, making it quick to learn and ideal for rapid on-site printing by engineers.
With its moderate size and high cost-effectiveness, the A1 is the perfect choice for scenarios requiring rapid production on-site.
Bambu Lab H2D boasts the advantages of a large build volume and dual extruders, offering a 32×32×32 cm print space that can handle large prints or batch output of small items simultaneously.
It features an all-purpose modular design, which, in addition to 3D printing, can be expanded with functions such as laser engraving, blade cutting, and drawing, making it an integrated creative tool.
The new AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT systems are equipped with heating and ventilation control, capable of drying filament and controlling chamber temperature, effectively preventing material moisture and deformation.
