[3D Printing News] 3D Printing Car Parts Like This
Do you still think 3D printing car parts is only for small things like gears and screws? Today, 3DMART will show you how much the Ultimaker 3 Extended 3D Printer has advanced.Everyone has a basic understanding of 3D printing. It's usually for printing toy models, small parts, electronic product casings, etc.
This time, 3DMART is going to print aSUV rearview mirror!!!!
Here's a sample to give you a sense of the impressive speed.
Let me briefly introduce how the rearview mirror is assembled from several different components. In addition to the surface requirements for the casing, the internal structural components must be complete for assembly. We used the Ultimaker 3 Extended 3D Printer with PLA and PVA water-soluble material. No matter how complex the part structure is, it's not a challenge for us.

Since this part is larger (over 20 cm), we used the Ultimaker 3 Extended for printing.

Due to the complex shape of the object, there were many unsupported areas during placement. The PVA water-soluble material took this opportunity to demonstrate its function, supporting every corner to ensure the PLA printed completely.
After soaking in water....................

Not only are the structural components of the object perfectly rendered, but the surface quality is also impeccable.

Each piece is a sample with extremely high precision. Enough talk! Let's assemble it quickly to see the results!!!

Anyone who came to COMPUTEX must have seen the real thing already!!!

Rearview Mirror : )) For those who haven't seen me yet, come to 3DMART to admire my beauty.
