Ever since 3dmart launched its refurbished machines, they've been almost completely sold out. This time, a client brought us an incredibly exquisite and complex model, allowing us to showcase our skills. Now, let's share this intricate model and the results of our scanning test.
This character has many intricate and terrifying details, resembling a formidable zombie boss that brings to mind Diablo or Resident Evil.
(3dmart only took the photos for this article; the character is owned by 13ART Studio.)

From the photographic image, you can see the lifelike surface texture. This character has sunken, scarred eye sockets, protruding horns, interwoven muscle tissue, and raised veins. And this character is just one of the complex works from 13ART Studio.

Even the folds inside the ears and the spinal protrusions on the back of the head are fully rendered, and the bottom cross-section is not neglected. I can't help but touch my own neck and feel a slight pain.

How do the results of 3D scanning turn out for such a complex character model? Can the 3D scanner Einscan Pro+ gain the artist's approval?
We imported the 3D scanned file into 3Ds MAX to view the imaging effect. The eye sockets on the front are clearly imaged, and the prominent brow bone and muscle tissue within the eye sockets are also captured.

Although we've provided 3D scanning services for many clients, such a detailed and complex figurine is very rare. Even the engineers were eager to try when they saw it. From the side, you can see that the contours of the ear canal and the teeth are fully rendered, and even the raised veins have been scanned!

Of course, the crucial cross-section at the bottom cannot be missed. The bone cross-section and depressions are all very clear.

Through this simple reverse engineering, you just need to put the 3D scanned file into Cura and you can print it with an Ultimaker 3D printer! Here's how it looks rendered with the latest version of Cura 3.6. Red indicates overhanging parts, which automatically form support material without the need for additional modeling. These tools make the 3D printing process easier.

We thank 13ART Studio for providing this demonstration model, and for taking away our last refurbished 3D scanner from the Einscan Pro+ series! With the scanner, they will be able to utilize 3D scanning to scale and assist in their traditional sculpting, creating more value.
If you've noticed, in addition to the EinScan Pro+ model, the latest versions of the EinScan Pro 2X/2X Plus series 3D scanners are now publicly available; compared to the EinScan Pro+ model, they offer higher precision, faster speed, and come bundled with the Shining3D version of Solid Edge software. You can order them now from our store.
We are very happy to have had the opportunity to see such amazing artwork. We will continue to share the latest news related to 3D printing technology, and special events will be held soon. Please continue to follow us.
