[3D Printing Applications] DIY Exhibition Props with 3D Printing

【3D Printing Application】DIY Exhibition Props with 3D Printing

Does everyone remember 3DMART's Makerfaire exhibition in Huashan not long ago?
Let's start with a panoramic photo of the booth to jog everyone's memory!

Actually, at the exhibition, we had a self-made 3D-printed small prop. Did anyone notice it?

This is the prop! What exactly is this gray, specially shaped object at the exhibition booth?!

The answer is a fixing device for auxiliary clip-on lamps on the exhibition backdrop (please refer to the top of the backdrop in the first image). Our clever colleague designed this special shape
so that it can fit into the grooves of the exhibition backdrop, and the opening at the front allows the clip-on lamp to be attached.

(The image above is a schematic diagram of use; this is the aluminum panel at the very top of the backdrop)

We used a total of 3 clip-on lamps, so we 3D printed these 3 small props and inserted them into the grooves. This not only allows us to adjust the position to where we want the light source to be,
but also makes them very easy to remove.

If viewed from directly below, it should look like this. The light can be firmly clipped onto the fixing device, and the 3D-printed object (PLA) is very light, so it will not cause any burden on the
backdrop.

That concludes the introduction to the small prop created with 3D printing. After reading this article, have you tried designing and 3D printing any small props yourself?
Are those of you who already own a 3D printer itching to try? Let's quickly start printing some everyday items or small props together!
