Entertainer "Alien" Huang Hong-Sheng's career is flourishing with his multiple roles as a host on "Mr. Player", an entertainer, and a singer. His "AES Alien Huang & TAT Plan B" concert, which concluded on October 13th last month, was also a huge success. The special giveaway on that day, a "3D printed bust" in collaboration with Tissot "Seastar1000", was produced by 3dmart using 3D scanning, and we can finally announce it now!

In addition to the monster models and car bumpers we previously shared, let me now introduce the production process of variety show star "Brother Gui" Huang Hong-Sheng's bust! For the bust, we first performed a general full-face scan using the latest EinScan Pro 2X Plus 3D scanner. This not only allowed the machine to quickly capture data points but also helped identify areas with insufficient lighting for subsequent enhancement.
The most challenging part of 3D scanning a human portrait is usually the hair. This is especially true for Taiwanese people, who mostly have black hair. Black hair affects the reflection during 3D scanning, which is not conducive to scanner imaging. Although the image shows that the EinScan Pro 2X Plus 3D scanner still delivers incredibly powerful molding results, to ensure the best quality, we still asked Brother Gui to touch up his hair beforehand.
Hair that has been whitened becomes clearer during 3D scanning. Additionally, since the EinScan Pro 2X Plus uses LED light sources, there's no need to close eyes when scanning a person, eliminating the need for further post-processing on facial features. This makes it a convenient choice for body and bust scanning. The finished result amazed Brother Gui, who couldn't resist taking a picture. And just like other big boys, he was very interested in the company's 3D printing samples. He is both handsome and friendly!
The STL file after scanning can be directly 3D printed, eliminating the need for molds, speeding up the process, and meeting the new demands for customized products and urgent deadlines. Here, I'll drop it into Ultimaker Cura for everyone to see the file's effect.
