Bambu Lab last night officially launched the new H2D Pro 3D printer with new cybersecurity features. The system, which includes the AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT, is dubbed the “enterprise-grade” version of the Bambu Lab H2D.
The new product retains all the 3D printing capabilities of the H2D, while adding upgraded cybersecurity to meet the stringent demands of professional manufacturing.
Notably, the H2D Pro does not include the laser or blade cutting modules found in the H2D’s full laser combo system. However, it supports upgrades for both, allowing users to add laser engraving and cutting capabilities as needed.

New cybersecurity features include WPA2-Enterprise Wi-Fi authentication (EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS) for seamless integration into secure enterprise networks. The 3D printer also supports 802.1X network access control, requiring authentication before network connection. This ensures compatibility with identity-based enterprise IT infrastructures and adds a robust layer of defense to effectively prevent unauthorized access.
For stability-conscious environments, Bambu Lab has equipped this printer with an Ethernet port, providing reliable wired connectivity. This ensures stable performance even in crowded wireless environments and offers full-duplex speeds of up to 100 Mbps.
Bambu's H2D Pro also features a physical network termination switch, allowing users to instantly disconnect, block unwanted connections, and comply with strict security standards. Additionally, it integrates a fully removable network module, allowing users to physically detach the network hardware for greater peace of mind and more robust intrusion protection.
On the hardware front, the new 3D printer introduces two new Bambu Lab products: a high-performance print head cooling fan and a durable tungsten carbide nozzle.
The Shenzhen-based OEM has also announced enterprise integration support services. Through this service, Bambu Lab will provide customized assistance to businesses and institutions looking to integrate 3D printers into their operations. According to the H2D Pro product page, Bambu's "expert software R&D team" will work directly with customers to develop customized printer fleet management tools that meet internal workflows and technical requirements.
Previously, Bambu Farm Manager was released last month, a local network management software that allows users to fully control multiple Bambu Lab 3D printers without cloud connectivity. Currently, the platform is compatible with P1, A1, and X1C 3D printers, with H2D support expected in Q4 2025.

Bambu Lab launches new H2D Pro
Bambu Lab's new 3D printer is primarily aimed at enterprise R&D, education, and small-batch production.
The H2D Pro's new high-performance cooling fan is integrated into the print head's front cover. This fan cools the extruder and hotend heatsink during 3D printing and features intelligent temperature control to help reduce clogs and filament jams. This allows for a recommended operating temperature 3°C higher than the H2D.
Bambu Lab's latest 3D printer also features a brand new tungsten carbide nozzle with a hardness of up to HRA 90, significantly higher than the HRA 74 rating of the H2D's hardened steel nozzle. This means a 50% longer lifespan when printing with abrasive fiber-reinforced materials.
According to the Chinese 3D printer manufacturer, the new tool head fan and tungsten nozzle are also compatible with the basic H2D model. After the necessary firmware updates and product launch, both accessories are expected to be available on the Bambu Lab official store in Q4 2025.

All other 3D printing hardware on the Pro remains consistent with the basic H2D model. This includes a massive 350 x 320 x 325 mm build volume, dual-nozzle extrusion technology for multi-material printing, and a nozzle temperature of up to 350°C.
The latter is compatible with a variety of high-temperature engineering-grade materials, including PPA-CF, PPS, and PPS-CF. In addition, the 3D printer's 65°C active chamber heater maintains optimal chamber temperatures for consistent, high-quality prints.
Active airflow baffles regulate ventilation based on filament type, helping to prevent low-temperature clogs and high-temperature warping, while enhancing layer adhesion and optimizing material properties.
The H2D Pro comes standard with Bambu Lab's high-precision vision encoder. This device, an optional accessory for the H2D, uses a vision encoder board and 5 µm resolution optical measurement technology to calibrate print head movements and achieve 50 µm motion accuracy across the entire build area.
Bambu's new 3D printer is also equipped with a G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA filter, and premium coconut shell activated carbon filter. These filters minimize odors and harmful particulate matter generated during 3D printing, making the H2D Pro ideal for cramped and poorly ventilated workspaces.
