All3DP is the world's leading 3D printing magazine, featuring engaging content helpful for both beginners and experienced veterans. In addition to educational and entertaining information related to 3D printing, it frequently publishes authoritative global 3D printing product reviews.
The EinScan Pro 2X was also selected as the top choice in the guide to the 25 best global 3D scanners for Winter 2018 (comparison included cost-effectiveness). Following the Ultimaker S5's selection as All3DP's best dual-extrusion 3D printer for Autumn 2018, this further confirms 3DMart's commitment to selecting quality 3D printing products for its customers.

Now, let's explore the usage and detailed features of this top 3D scanner:
.EinScan Pro Series Technology
The EinScan Pro series utilizes white light 3D scanning technology to achieve high precision and speed. This professional-grade system can capture objects ranging from 0.03mm to 4 meters with excellent color texture. The EinScan Pro 2X is the latest handheld 3D scanner in the series, better suited for small to medium-sized objects, capable of high-speed 3D scanning without sacrificing accuracy.

.Four 3D Scanning Modes
The EinScan Pro 2X offers handheld rapid scan, handheld HD scan, and fixed scan modes (further divided into options with or without a turntable). Using the EinScan Pro 2X for handheld rapid scanning with an automatic turntable can quickly capture 3D models of sculptures, which can then be directly manufactured into physical objects through 3D printing.
.Two Handheld Scanning Modes
Handheld scanning is divided into rapid and high-accuracy modes. In rapid scan mode, the EinScan Pro 2X can process up to 1,500,000 points per second (30 fps). In contrast, high-accuracy scanning is slower but provides impeccable scanning precision, up to 0.05 mm.
Both handheld modes can improve accuracy by placing alignment markers on the scanned object, reducing the minimum point distance to 0.2mm, thereby generating high-resolution 3D digital images.
.New Series Upgrade
The EinScan Pro 2X Plus, released simultaneously, is an upgraded version primarily designed to enhance scanning speed and accuracy, featuring a larger single scan range, point distance, and scanning distance. Although both 3D scanners have the same scanning accuracy and depth of field, the 2X Plus is more suitable for applications such as research, design art, cultural heritage, engineering, and healthcare compared to the basic 2X model.

The previous EinScan Pro series is, of course, also an excellent choice and still listed among the 25 best 3D scanners, but the new Pro 2X surpasses the older version in ranking.

The EinScan-Pro+ is also a versatile 3D scanner capable of capturing large and small objects. Overall, it's suitable for multi-purpose 3D scanning scenarios, while the EinScan Pro 2X series is more suited for professional use.

Isn't the top-rated 3D scanner incredibly powerful? If you've read our previous article on scanning with the EinScan Pro Plus (Further reading: Reverse Engineering Test: Beasts and Their Models!), you'll see its incredibly detailed and complete accuracy. The new generation EinScan Pro 2X series offers even more powerful features. In addition to providing scanning services, we will also release relevant practical tests soon.
