The 3D printing technology sharing session hosted by 3DMART on December 21st has successfully concluded! What was the grand occasion like that day? And what practical content was covered? Let's take a look now!
After checking in, attendees could freely choose their seats, with good spots going to the early birds! Notebooks were provided on-site, hoping everyone would leave with a wealth of knowledge.

A table full of snacks and drinks welcomed everyone; we weren't afraid you'd eat too much, only that you'd be hungry. There was also coffee, so no need to worry about falling asleep!

Attendees who arrived gradually showed great interest in the samples before the event started. Some guests even got an early look at our yet-to-be-released Sinterit latest samples; for those who couldn't make it, stay tuned for our upcoming sharing soon!

A considerable number of guests attended this time, almost filling 3DMART's reception room. Everyone was very supportive!

First, OITC introduced the functions and basic concepts of Autodesk Inventor software, including other file formats and compatible software it can connect with. Additionally, there were applications of various modeling types, manufacturing processes, and basic modeling concepts.

This included understanding the concept of product design using 3D software paired with 3D printing. The example used here was the file for our giveaway item – the heart-shaped lock box; and the differences between additive manufacturing and traditional manufacturing in component production.

For the 3D printing introduction, in addition to a detailed explanation of the principles of the three most common forming technologies—SLS laser powder sintering, SLA photopolymerization, and FDM fused deposition modeling—we also showcased our various latest prints.

With the instructor's step-by-step explanations, everyone gained a better understanding of the characteristics of 3D printed products made with different technologies. (Further reading: How to choose? A comparison of common 3D printing methods!)

Finally, there was a practical demonstration of a 3D printer, including how to quickly replace nozzles, the differences in filament feeding ports between Ultimaker 3 and Ultimaker S5, and touchscreen operation.

During the final Q&A session, everyone actively asked many in-depth technical questions, and even I learned a lot! Thank you all for your enthusiastic participation in this event. Everyone went home with our small gift, the Christmas heart-shaped lock box! (Further reading: "Heart-shaped lock box" for Christmas! The romance of engineers!)

We look forward to meeting you all again next time. We've heard all your feedback and thoughts from this event! We will be organizing more related events in the future, so please stay tuned to our website or Facebook page for the latest news!
