The highly anticipated casting test article for 3DMart's DWS XFAB SLA 3D printer is here!!
[Let's first revisit previous DWS XFAB test articles: Test Article PART 1, Test Article PART 2]
As everyone knows, SLA resin 3D printers are typically used in the jewelry design field.
By using specialized casting resin with an SLA resin 3D printer,
you can print a model and then cast it,
resulting in a 3D printed necklace that is as clear and bright as real jewelry!
First, here are the first batch of SLA 3D printed objects using casting resin!
(Using DWS SLA resin - Fusia 443)
(Layer thickness: 0.1mm)

First up is the goddess pendant.

Next is a geometric pendant that looks like DNA but isn't DNA.

These delicate 3D printed objects
are completely smooth, without the layer lines we usually associate with 3D printing.
Next, after 3DMart removes the supports from the objects,
they can be sent for casting!

The results are truly beautiful.
Just add a chain to them,
and they're ready to be worn out!~~~😚😚😚
Next, we printed a spherical hollow pendant.💖

Despite such intricate, small, and complex details,
the DWS XFAB can still bring out the finest details of the object to the fullest.
Now, it's time to cast the hollow pendant.
This time, the casting rules are a bit different.
We used two different casting materials – silver and copper –
to give the same hollow pendant different looks.
The left is silver casting.
The right is copper casting.

SLA resin 3D printers like the DWS XFAB
and specialized casting resin materials
enable jewelry designers to quickly print their imaginative design ideas.
And if you're a general user, the DWS XFAB 3D printer can print highly detailed 3D objects, satisfying all your design needs!
From these small and delicate 3D printed objects today,
it's clear that DWS is truly impressive.
No wonder the DWS XFAB is on many people's shortlist for 3D printer purchases.
