[3D Print Showcase] Form 2 Castable Resin Print Test

Since we introduced the FDM 3D printing material Moldlay, more and more friends have become interested in casting. They come to us to ask questions and chat about casting and 3D printing. The most popular industries are jewelry and dental technology. However, due to the forming technology of FDM 3D printers, these two industries haven't been able to fully utilize them. SLA, on the other hand, has already made great strides in this field! Formlabs has also launched a castable resin that can be completely burned out without leaving any ash, capturing the clearest and most precise details with an extremely smooth surface. Material Used: Form2 Castable Resin Cartridge
Layer Thickness: 0.025mm


After removing from the printing platform and cleaning, it needs to be exposed to UV light for more complete post-curing!

Even without casting, the sapphire blue color is beautiful and captivating!


I really like this printed product. Maybe it's because the color and shape resemble the interlocking toys I used to play with as a child (oops).

Also presented is a small dragon printed with Formlabs' original gray resin. Can anyone recognize which masterpiece this fierce beast appeared in?


The almost thumb-sized little dragon was printed with a layer thickness of 0.05mm, and it can perfectly display both fine details and delicate areas.
