The outer cardboard box not only has a pleasing color scheme but is also very sturdy! There are small handles on both sides for easier transport!
Opening the box reveals complete protective measures, with all spaces filled. There will be no internal collisions during long-distance shipping, and any external force will first be applied to the styrofoam or the suspended sides!
Formlabs also thoughtfully provides assembly instructions with images and text, making it easy for everyone to assemble!
The large item on the right is the resin tank, the item at the bottom center is the build platform, and the top left is the small parts box!
Remove the styrofoam cover on top to reveal the Form 2 itself! It is completely encased in a plastic bag.
The main unit is also protected by styrofoam at the bottom. You can see the thoughtful handles on both sides, making it easy to lift the machine out of the box!
After removing the plastic cover from the machine, the elegant and textured body appears before your eyes!
Seeing so many accessories, you might think, "Wow, will it be difficult and complicated?" 3DMART can tell you, absolutely not!
Regardless of the 3D printing technology, the most crucial aspect is level adjustment. To prevent resin tilting, the Form 2's body level is very important. However, the machine itself will automatically sense and display a warning if it's not level. A spirit level makes it easy to fix.
Once everything is ready, you can slice your desired file on the computer and upload it to the Form 2 via Wi-Fi! The Form 2 also features a touchscreen, making it even simpler!
The Form 2 will first fill the resin tank and heat it to the optimal printing temperature, which may take a few minutes!
When printing starts, the screen also conveniently displays the current layer count and estimated time.
Each time the build platform rises, the resin wiper automatically sweeps across to agitate the resin and maintain print consistency!
The platform will dip into the resin, and a precise laser spot will cure the photosensitive resin where needed.
The object is complete! With a layer thickness of 0.1mm, this beautiful texture is beyond the reach of most SLA 3D printers!
These supports are automatically generated by Formlabs' slicing software, PreForm, making them precise and easy to remove.
Both the surface fineness and circularity are perfect!

After removing the supports, almost no traces are left. If there are any small marks at the contact points, they can still be sanded down!
