[3D Printing News] First 3D Technology Collaboration Between Tri-D Technologies (HK) and MIT Hong Kong

【3D Printing News】3DMart Hong Kong and MIT Hong Kong's First 3D Technology Collaboration

Everyone knows about the very famous American school - the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It is not only one of the best universities in the world,
but also has a very strong entrepreneurial culture. The most helpful factor among these is undoubtedly the maker spaces established within the school.
Outside of the US campus, only Hong Kong also has this Innovation Node.

What we're going to talk about today is an event called MEMSI, organized by the maker space at MIT Hong Kong.

  1. MEMSI is a two-week learning workshop where participants can experience and learn the process from development to production.
  2. It allows innovators or entrepreneurs interested in creating initial hardware or software products to understand the operations of mass production in China through this event.
  3. 3DMart Hong Kong collaborated on 3D printing technology during this innovative MEMSI event, using Ultimaker 3 3D printers to assist participants with prototyping.
  4. Participants can create new products through 3D printing, enabling rapid realization of their ideas.

The event organizers found that the Ultimaker 3D printers produced excellent print quality during actual use, and the machines operated very stably, requiring minimal effort for adjustments.
Therefore, they are very suitable for short-term workshops like this, enabling participants to learn and operate quickly.

At the end of the workshop, there will be a product presentation where participants explain their creative process and product features, allowing everyone to exchange ideas and inspire more innovation.
3DMart Hong Kong is very happy to have provided expertise in 3D printing technology this time, enabling participants to present their initial ideas through 3D prototyping, leading to more complete product outcomes.
Through this collaboration, our colleagues at 3DMart Hong Kong also learned a lot about production operations, making it a very fulfilling exchange of 3D printing technology.
