[3D Printing News] Introduction to Polymaker's Latest Products

After returning from the TCT Asia 2018 3D Printing Exhibition in Shanghai, 3DMART has obtained a lot of information on new products from various manufacturers, and will continue to update and list the latest products in the near future. This time, we would like to introduce a series of products launched by Polymaker, well-known for its alcohol polishing machine, including many new filaments and the Polybox, a humidity control box to protect filaments from moisture.

I believe friends who use FDM 3D printers often encounter a common problem: dealing with moisture-sensitive filaments (such as Polysmooth, PVA water-soluble, nylon, TPU, etc.). Normally, we store them in a dry cabinet when not in use to prevent the filament from absorbing moisture. However, during long printing sessions, it's unavoidable for the filament to be exposed to air and absorb moisture.
Polymaker's new Polybox humidity control box solves this problem once and for all. By placing the filament in the Polybox, you can monitor temperature and humidity. The filament can also be pulled directly from the box for 3D printing, eliminating the need to constantly change filaments during printing and removing any concerns about moisture absorption.

Next, let's briefly introduce the series of 3D printing filaments that Polymaker is promoting!
This time, a total of five different types of 3D printing filaments are launched: PolyMide CoPA, Polylite ABS, Polylite PLA, PolyFlex, and Polysupport.
PolyMide CoPA has been introduced in a dedicated article, so we won't go into detail here.

Polylite ABS and Polylite PLA are the most common materials used with FDM 3D printers, maintaining Polymaker's high-quality output filaments. The key is that the price is super cheap!!!

PolyFlex is a 3D printing filament with excellent elasticity, similar to TPU material. It is an essential material for creating soft and flexible objects, so you don't have to worry about parts breaking easily. It can also adhere to the print bed without heating.

Polysupport is a support 3D printing filament. Unlike PVA water-soluble filament which requires soaking in water to dissolve, Polysupport is an easily detachable support, and the surface after removal is quite smooth. It is similar to the Ultimaker breakaway filament we introduced before, but this one is currently 1.75mm in diameter. If you need 2.85mm, you can purchase breakaway.

These are the new products launched by Polymaker. Among all the products, Polybox is the most interesting new product to me. It seems very practical in actual use!
(It's truly a great tool for lazy people who don't want to change filaments~~~)
