[3D Printing Lecture] A Look Back at the 2023 NTUEE Makerthon MakeNTU Workshop

【3D Printing Workshop】2023 NTU EE MakeNTU Workshop Review
We were honored to be invited to participate in the 2023 NTU EE Makerthon MakeNTU workshop. MakeNTU focuses on practical hardware and software implementation, inspiring makers' creativity and practical skills. Makers will create physical works that are most relevant to the theme in a short period, serving as an excellent platform for ideation, self-learning, and implementation! Therefore, 3DMart specially prepared two 3D printers for the workshop to introduce to the participating students, giving them a warm-up before the actual competition! Let's review the exciting content of the workshop!

Before the workshop began, the staff arrived early to set up the equipment. To ensure that students could fully experience the actual 3D printing process, 3DMart brought two powerful 3D printers. The Bambu Lab X1 Carbon Combo 3D Printer, hailed worldwide as a "Game Changer" in the 3D printing industry, was present at the workshop! It features high-speed printing, a flow rate of 20 m/s², support for 16-color printing, and compatibility with various filament materials, etc. At the workshop, printing an object approximately 3 cm took about 15-20 minutes! This is very suitable for participants to complete the main structural printing within the short 24-hour competition time.

While the 3D printers were test printing, the students present were very eager to ask questions! Everyone was very curious about how amazing the Bambu Lab could be.

Of course, not just the Bambu Lab, 3DMart also brought the highly cost-effective Snapmaker 2.0 3-in-1 3D Printer / A350T, which combines 3D printing, laser engraving, and CNC milling technologies. Its modular design makes assembly easier, and with a touchscreen, it's easy for both beginners and experienced users to operate!

If there's a sudden power outage during the competition, the Snapmaker 2.0 3-in-1 3D Printer / A350T has a power-loss recovery function. After restarting, the machine remembers the previous operation record and continues the 3D printing task. There's no need to worry about reprinting everything, saving valuable competition time for the students!

The modular design allows for immediate function changes according to students' needs. If students temporarily require laser engraving or CNC woodworking engraving, they can quickly and easily switch functions!

The 3DMart staff were all very enthusiastic in answering students' questions! We hope to help students resolve their doubts and leave without confusion!

After the intensive 3D printing lecture at the workshop, we believe the participating students gained a lot! 3DMart hopes everyone can shine in the competition with what they've learned! See you on competition day!

In the future, we will continue to organize or participate in various events and share the latest developments in 3D printing, publishing them on our FB Fan Page and official website news. Please continue to follow us for first-hand information!
