[3D Scanner Hands-On Review] SHINING Scanner Grand Comparison: Which One Delivers the Best Performance?

【3D Scanning Test】SHINING Scanners Reviewed: Which One Delivers the Best Results?

Today, 3DMart conducted a practical test of reverse engineering using two types of "SHINING 3D scanners": a general-purpose model and an industrial model. Different scanner applications can be confusing to choose from, right? This video test will provide the answers. Let's immediately compare the results:

First, we used the newly introduced "SHINING EinScan SE" to scan the details of King Kong (19 cm in height, 22 cm in width). By simply adjusting the model's position after each rotation of the turntable, allowing the scanner to capture all angles completely, the scan can be easily completed.

Next, using the handheld scanning mode of the "SHINING EinScan Pro 2X+", engineers can freely move according to the model's size, allowing for a very wide and unrestricted scanning range. Plus, the scan can be completed in just 3 minutes!

During the scanning process, the equipment directly connects with the software, and the scanning status can be previewed in real-time, making operation convenient and easy!

Although the scanning time for the "EinScan SE" is longer, it produces extremely fine details, whether it's the wrinkles on the gorilla's face, the depth of its ears, the armor parts on its chest, or the concavities of its collarbones.

The scanning accuracy of the handheld "EinScan Pro 2X+" is relatively not as high as that of the fixed-mode "EinScan SE", but the model completeness is excellent, and the scanning speed is 7 times faster!

To provide a more comprehensive comparison, we also used the turntable scanning mode of the "EinScan Pro 2X+". After focusing the light, the turntable automatically rotates 360 degrees, making it easy to complete the scanning task!

The "EinScan Pro 2X+" offers both handheld and fixed-turntable scanning functions, making it suitable for industrial applications and scanning large objects with a wide range of uses. The accuracy in fixed mode is higher than that of the "EinScan SE". On the other hand, the "EinScan SE" has a relatively limited scanning range, making it suitable for scanning smaller objects. However, for a scanner priced under NT$50,000, the "EinScan SE" still offers excellent value for money!

Accuracy "EinScan Pro 2X+" fixed mode > "EinScan SE" > "EinScan Pro 2X+" handheld mode
Speed "EinScan Pro 2X+" handheld mode > "EinScan Pro 2X+" fixed mode ≈ "EinScan SE"

3D scanning is a magical "reverse engineering" technology that can convert physical objects directly into 3D files without relying on 3D modeling. Which 3D scanner do you prefer? There's no good or bad equipment; simply evaluate your needs and choose the right model to make it your most capable work assistant.
