June 1st marks Snapmaker’s 8th anniversary, and this year’s celebration is themed “Play Well”. Play Well reminds the manufacturer of youth, fun, and exploration, and the original reasons for founding Snapmaker. Everyone!! This cash prize is different from previous manufacturer cash vouchers; it can be used for personal expenses!! (Of course, coming to us is the best, haha) And the competition is still free to enter. This is like buying a lottery ticket! You have to sign up!!!

Snapmaker 3D Printed Board Game Challenge

Print things you can play with: toys, games, sports equipment, musical instruments - anything you can play with. (Bonus points if you can also use Snapmaker's laser or CNC functions!)

Play with your creations, invite your friends and family to join you, so you can enjoy the wonderful things you've made together.

Shoot a 1-3 minute video documenting:
   A: What did you make?
   B: How did you make it?
   C: Who did you play with!

Upload your video to YouTube using the hashtag #snapmakervideocontest and submit the link to the widget below.

Be sure to highlight the design and ideas behind your creation, as well as the final result.

We invite you to join this challenge, starting on Mother's Day (May 12, 2024) and ending on Father's Day (June 16, 2024, midnight UTC+8). Submitting entries before our 8th-anniversary celebration on June 1st will receive special rewards!

🎁 Special Reward: The Snapmaker team will select 5 videos submitted before June 1st to be highlighted on our website and showcased during our 8th-anniversary celebration!

🗒Rules

The content and format are open-ended! This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your creativity and win amazing prizes!

• Videos should be between 61 and 180 seconds long.
• Upload your print-and-play video to YouTube using the hashtag #snapmakervideocontest, then submit the video link to the Gleam widget!
• Ensure that more than 80% of the components in your work are created using a Snapmaker machine.

​The top 3 entrants will each receive the following prizes:

The manufacturer will invite contributors from the Snapmaker user community, the community moderator team, and a small number of Snapmaker team members to participate in the voting process within a specified time. Videos will be evaluated based on the following criteria. Based on the voting results, the Snapmaker community moderator team will select the winners.
 
• Originality
• Innovation
• Relevance to the theme
• Quality of presentation, including description, photos, videos, etc.
• Artistic value

• Bonus: Bonus points will be awarded if you also use Snapmaker's CNC and/or laser functions.
 
Note: Share your video widely! Use your friends, family, and social media connections to promote how wonderful your video and creation are.

• How are the winners selected?
Winners are selected based on the evaluation described above. Videos will also be screened for validity according to the rules above.

• How will I know if I've won?
Snapmaker will announce the results on Friday, June 28th, on our website and official social media accounts. We will also send an email to the winners.

• If I win, how do I claim my prize?
Snapmaker will contact you via the email address you used to log in. Please reply to claim your prize.

• What if I uploaded the wrong task video link?
You can contact Snapmaker via social media or at social@snapmaker.com, and they will assist you in resetting your entry.

• If I have questions about this event, who should I ask?

• Regarding cash prizes: This is not a game of chance, but please be aware of local laws and regulations, such as tax treatment of cash prizes.

• Regarding helmets: Please note that the helmet design in the prize poster is for promotional purposes only. The actual helmet may not match this description.

• Winning entries will be announced on June 28th, and winners will be contacted via the email they used for registration. Snapmaker will arrange for winners to receive their preferred prizes via email and will make every effort to contact winners, but if contacted multiple times over a week or more with no response, the prize will be awarded to the next highest-scoring submission that has not yet won.

• By submitting an entry, you authorize Snapmaker or anyone acting on behalf of Snapmaker to edit, publish, distribute, and use your submitted content globally for any purpose, without any further notice, review, or consent. However, Snapmaker will guarantee your right of attribution, so your name will be credited.

• Snapmaker reserves the right to terminate and change the terms at any time.
