[3D Printing News] 0.25mm Nozzle Test Print for Super Mini Models

[3D Printing News] 0.25mm Nozzle Test Print Sharing - Your Best Helper for Ultra-Miniature Models

Ultimaker previously launched two new products: the latest Breakaway filament (support), for which we shared the printed model results not long ago.
The other is the 0.25mm AA print core. This time, I'm going to share the exquisite models printed using this ultra-fine nozzle!

Let's take a direct look at the pentagonal cube printed using only the 0.25mm nozzle on the Ultimaker3 3D printer, made with PLA transparent filament.
This geometric model has the thinnest edges at only 1.2mm, with a clever layer-by-layer stacking design that allows printing in one go without the need for supports.

The completed pentagonal cube can be held and played with, resembling a dice. Feeling an urge to roll it, perhaps I didn't get enough dice-rolling during the New Year?

Do you feel that printing the thinnest edge at only 1.2mm doesn't push the limits of the 0.25mm nozzle? No worries, we understand your concern, so we printed an even smaller model to fully demonstrate the nozzle's advantages.

This ultra-miniature drill model has the thinnest edge at only 0.28mm, using green PLA with PVA support material. For the BB print core, it is recommended to use a 0.4mm nozzle.
(※Please note: Ultimaker does not offer a 0.25mm BB print core!)

The actual printed model appears very miniature next to a ten-dollar coin, and all the details are printed!

This is astonishing!!! You might not believe that all details have been printed. To prove the print's exquisite detail, we brought out the "drill dad" (which is actually just a normal-sized drill) for comparison.

See? I'm not kidding! All the fine details have been printed!

Turn it over and look at the back; the surface is also very complete after support removal.

If you happen to need to print miniature models, this excellent tool can help you print all kinds of essential tiny objects for your miniature life!
Without further ado, get your 0.25mm nozzle now.
