[3D Printing News] Ultimaker Competition Awards - Part 2: Zhonghe Senior High School

【3D Printing News】Ultimaker Competition Award Ceremony Part 2 - Zhonghe Senior High School

Ultimaker previously held an educational challenge competition to encourage 3D printing education. Another winner in Taiwan was Zhonghe Senior High School.
Just yesterday, 3DMart held an award ceremony and a complete machine training course, bringing abundant prizes and certificates.
On that day, we were warmly welcomed by the school. The enthusiastic and cheerful principal, Ko Ya-ling (pictured center), and the director of the library, Kuo Hui-min (pictured left), chatted with us about many educational philosophies and expressed great gratitude for the resources this event brought to the school.

Later, other directors also gradually joined the conversation, and everyone was very happy. Once all personnel arrived, we officially began our award ceremony!!!

Our general manager, Artem, presented the awards. The winner was the beautiful and generous art teacher, Wu Jia-pei (second from right).
Prizes included a high-quality dual-extrusion 3D printer, Ultimaker 3, and 8 rolls of self-selected Ultimaker original filaments.

There was also a small, cute trophy we printed using the Ultimaker 3 printer. The exquisiteness of it made Ms. Wu full of praise, exclaiming that the printing quality was truly excellent.

Next came the highlight of this trip!
The Ultimaker 3D printer training course, starting from simple machine installation, step-by-step taught the teachers how to use it.

Then came the introduction to the print operation menu. Everyone listened very attentively, and for important parts, they even used their phones to take notes.

After the 3D printer operation instructions were completed, it was time to start printing! With the downloaded Cura slicing software ready, we loaded a favorite 3D model
(a switch stand that one of the teachers privately wanted to print), and we also explained many slicing parameter settings and functions.

Finally, due to time constraints, we first taught everyone how to clean the print head. The cleaning method was much simpler compared to other printer brands, which also made the teachers exclaim in surprise, saying it was truly convenient!!!

We are very grateful to Ultimaker for organizing this very meaningful competition, rewarding passionate educators, and providing us with this valuable opportunity to further connect with Taiwanese schools. We hope to have more opportunities to collaborate with the education sector in the future, allowing more students to have the chance to understand the latest 3D printing technology.
