【3D Printing Exhibitions】Ultimaker Attends Formnext 2017

【3D Printing Exhibition】Ultimaker Participates in Formnext 2017

As the world's leading additive manufacturing (3D printing) exhibition, and representing the next generation of smart industrial manufacturing methods, Formnext 2017 attracted over
21,492 attendees and 470 exhibitors.

Ultimaker returned to the exhibition this year as one of many international exhibitors, and we were excited to showcase our expertise in 3D printing. This was a great
opportunity to connect with our users, investigate the latest industry trends, and showcase our current range of
Ultimaker products.

Reduced working hours and costs

Our booth showcased a selection of successful business cases that demonstrate the huge potential of adoptingUltimaker 3D printers to assist your business:

Volkswagen : Reduced cycle time, labor, and the need for rework, while using Ultimaker 3D printers to improve the ergonomics of tools.
Furthermore, they achieved this at a tenth of the usual cost. The company estimates that they are on track to save €325,000 by the end of 2017.

Sylatech : Used Ultimaker 3D printers to prototype sample parts for its customers, allowing them to test their designs without having to invest in tooling ahead of investment casting.

ABB Robotics : Used Ultimaker 3D printers to minimize risk in the development process by proving the viability of a design before investing in an expensive tool, shrinking the development process from months to a matter of
days.

A series of reliable solutions guaranteeing high-quality results

In addition to business cases, the Ultimaker booth also showcased our free and open-source print preparation software, Ultimaker Cura.
Visitors were particularly interested in our new plugin structure, which allows businesses to develop custom modifications to the core software, such as CAD integration, custom file readers,
or other custom additions that improve the manufacturing workflow.

Our newCura Connect feature also drew significant interest.By grouping multiple Ultimaker 3D printers together, your office,
studio, or workshop can have a fully integrated production solution controlled from a single interface.

Our booth also showcased our full range ofUltimaker materials, which, when used in combination with Ultimaker Cura material profiles, guarantee each user
high-quality and reliable results.

It was a pleasure to attend Formnext, and we would like to thank everyone who visited us.We would like to give a special thanks to our service partner iGo3D for assisting us at the
