Function and Form
The Ultimaker S5 incorporates powerful technology into a sleek, clean, and stylish enclosure that fits perfectly in your office.
The enclosed front features colored glass doors, ensuring optimal internal temperature and airflow. The intuitive touchscreen interface guides you through printer
operation and displays detailed status information. Frame lights provide visual feedback and cast clean white light onto the machine for close-up inspection of your prints.
The embedded power configuration gives the printer a clean base, allowing it to be perfectly installed in cabinets or on vertical shelves.

Reliable Scaling
The Ultimaker S5 features a large build volume of 330 x 240 x 300mm. Print large-scale, or place multiple parts on the build plate to get the dimensions of your design.

The Ultimaker S5 probes the build plate at more points, creating a precise detailed height map of the build plate surface.
Using this data, any surface inaccuracies are compensated for in real-time, providing you with a perfect, ultra-smooth first layer with strong adhesion that lasts throughout the entire print.

Exchangeable print cores enable effortless, tool-free maintenance and maximum printer uptime. Different nozzle sizes allow for different print characteristics,
ranging from 0.8mm for fast printing to 0.25mm for ultra-fine details. With two available print core slots, you can quickly and easily click in the desired combination
for reliable dual extrusion.
Print in different colors for beautiful effects, or use water-soluble PVA or Breakaway support for perfect geometric freedom, easy post-processing, and high-quality
surface finishes, making tactile models or complex mechanical parts look even smoother and more professional.
For accurate, consistent results with various materials, the Ultimaker S5 uses two interchangeable build plates: hardened glass for general use, and an anodized aluminum plate
for advanced engineering materials such as ABS, CPE+, and PC. Each build plate can be quickly and easily clamped onto the anodized aluminum heated
platform, ensuring it remains secure throughout the print.

The responsive full-color touchscreen integrated into the Ultimaker S5's front panel makes operation more intuitive, easier, and clearer.
Swipe through menus and tap to select options, just like a smartphone. Detailed information such as loaded materials, print cores,
and build plate and nozzle temperatures keep you up-to-date on ongoing work, and the 3D preview function lets you see what's printing at a glance.
With support for 11 display languages, including English, German, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, the Ultimaker S5 is accessible to users worldwide.

Never used a 3D printer before? No problem. The touchscreen will intuitively guide you through setup and maintenance operations, using simple, easy-to-understand language
and high-resolution images, regardless of your technical ability.
Continued Professional Prototyping
The bowden extrusion system keeps the print head lightweight and enables the fastest performance. The tight filament path ensures reliable printing with flexible materials such as TPU 95A.
Tool steel feeder gears move material at a precise speed and use an ultra-hard coating to prevent long-term wear. And the redesigned silicone nozzle cover maintains consistent airflow around the print head for efficient filament extrusion.
Loading, unloading, and changing materials is effortless, with an ergonomic locking lever built into each feeder. Flip the lever up to manually insert or remove material. Flip it down to apply the same force to the material for accurate driving.
The built-in filament flow sensor intelligently detects when the filament stops moving or runs out. To save your print time, the Ultimaker S5 automatically pauses and reminds you to take action to replenish the filament.

Engineering-grade materials for multiple properties
The Ultimaker S5 supports the full range of Ultimaker materials, including ABS, CPE+, Nylon, and TPU 95A. Each Ultimaker S5 box includes
one 750g spool of the latest material, Tough PLA. With high impact strength and rigidity, yet simple and reliable printing experience, Tough PLA offers mechanical properties similar to ABS,
making it an excellent material for large functional prototypes, tools, or manufacturing aids.
The smart spool holder conveniently clips onto the back panel of the Ultimaker S5 and can accommodate two independent 750g spools of material.
Load the spool onto the holder, and using the built-in NFC reader, the printer will identify the Ultimaker material type and automatically select the optimal printer
settings, so you don't have to set them yourself.
Our team of material experts rigorously tests each Ultimaker material to ensure maximum compatibility with the Ultimaker S5 and optimize over 200 settings in our
free print preparation software, Ultimaker Cura, to create material profiles. Use material profiles to prepare your prints
and eliminate guesswork and experimentation in 3D printing, achieving high-quality results. If you want to try other materials, our open filament system also allows you
to easily use third-party materials.
