[3D Printing News] Visiting TCT Asia 2018 3D Printing Exhibition in Shanghai

【3D Printing News】Visiting TCT Asia 2018 3D Printing Exhibition in Shanghai

From March 1st to March 3rd this year, Shanghai hosted a grand 3D printing exhibition – TCT Asia 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Exhibition. 3DMart certainly didn't miss this opportunity to gather the latest 3D printing information, specially traveling to Shanghai to bring you first-hand news and information on various new machines.
TCT Asia has been held three times, with exhibition content covering 3D printing, additive manufacturing, 3D software (CAD/CAE), measurement tools, and traditional manufacturing technologies. It is dedicated to promoting the application of 3D printing technology in design, development, and manufacturing across various industrial fields.
With the continuous growth of the Asian region and its increasing international influence, TCT Asia has officially become one of the major 3D technology exhibitions. This visit confirmed that many renowned 3D printer manufacturers from various countries participated, and the overall quality of exhibitors has gradually improved compared to previous years, demonstrating that the Chinese market is increasingly valued internationally.

The promotional billboard is very vibrant and well-designed.

Now, let's enjoy some wonderful photos from the exhibition!
Arriving at the TCT exhibition at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, the number of attendees was enormous. We queued for about an hour just to get in.

Not long after entering, we saw our represented brand, Ultimaker (exhibiting through a distributor). The silver, white, and black color scheme created a very modern and tech-savvy feel.

There was a 3D printed sample we provided at the venue, a JSPB airsoft gun (which also made an appearance at a previous Makerfaire exhibition~)
Next to it were the hottest 3D printed models of the "Traveling Frog" game, a large and small one, they looked so cute~~~

Next up was Polymaker, a filament manufacturer known for its alcohol polisher. At this exhibition, they also unveiled many new products, including new nylon filaments and filament storage boxes. We will continue to release updates on new products in the future.

Our represented brand, Shining 3D, also had a very lively booth. Many visitors were interested in the Einscan Pro+ 3D scanner and other showcased machines. The 3D scanner software is constantly being updated, making the scanning process smoother, faster, and more accurate.

Chinese filament brand esun also participated, showcasing their filaments arranged in a way that allowed visitors to clearly see all the materials they produce.

EOS is a world-renowned leading brand in industrial 3D printing technology for metal and polymer materials. These high-spec German machines, of course, also come with high-spec prices (very expensive!!)

Markforged showcased its latest metal 3D printer, a large-scale machine that requires additional equipment.

The samples displayed by the 3dtalk brand were the most impressive, featuring exquisite models of Monkey King, robots, and alien monsters, as if stepping into an art exhibition hall, offering an endless aesthetic experience.

American 3D printer brand 3D Systems also displayed many 3D printed samples and launched their latest small 3D printer models.

Renishaw, one of the world's leading engineering technology companies, possesses expertise in precision measurement and healthcare.

World-renowned printer brand HP showcased large-scale full-color powder bed fusion 3D printers.

The American brand Stratasys is also a renowned 3D printer manufacturer. I personally think their booth was beautifully and tastefully designed.

The highly innovative combination of drones and extrusion-based 3D printers conveyed a novel concept to attendees: the potential use of this technology for building construction in the future.

Taiwanese manufacturers Aurora and Cometure also participated in this grand event, showcasing 3D printers and 3D scanners.

These are the exciting photos from our trip to the Shanghai exhibition!
We have contacted many manufacturers and are preparing to represent more high-quality 3D printer brands. Please continue to follow our website for more news, which will be released soon. We look forward to the day when the new machines arrive at the 3DMart office and we can meet you all.
