【Hands-on Tutorial】Phrozen Mighty Full Tutorial: Even articulated models can be printed!
Want to twist and turn articulated joints as you please? Watch the video to learn, no need to read the manual! We previously 3D printed Star Wars "The Mandalorian" and "Baby Yoda" to test the performance of the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 3D Printer (click here to see). This time, we're 3D printing an "articulated" octo-octopus. Here's a complete Chinese tutorial for the Phrozen Sonic Mighty:

I. Z-axis calibration (Video 00:19)
After unboxing, place the 3D printer on a platform, remove the protective film, open the full-coverage lid, and take out the accessories, which include connection cables, spatulas, gloves, funnels, USB, and other complete toolkits.
1. Loosen the fixing screws
Remove the resin vat and loosen the fixing screws on the print platform (the platform does not need to be removed).
2. Place paper, one-click start
Place a piece of paper on the LCD panel, click "Tool" > "Z Calib" on the touchscreen, and the print platform will automatically lower until it is flush with the bottom LCD panel.
3. Tighten screws, raise platform
After it is completely flush with the paper and LCD panel at the bottom, retighten the four screws on both sides of the platform. Finally, click "Complete" on the screen, and the platform will rise to the top again, completing the calibration.
(Confirm the above 3 steps and check if the bottom LCD curing light is on. Finally, lock the resin vat, and you can start printing.)
II. 3D model slicing (Video 01:09)
1. Click "Settings" to enter the settings page.
2. Click the "Add" icon to enter the device selection interface and find the specified 3D printer "Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K".
3. Select the resin to use. (Click here to download: Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K Resin Parameters)
4. Insert the 3D model file, click the "Build Supports" page, and click . Users can adjust the detailed parameters according to their preferences and printing conditions.
5. After the data settings are complete, drag the slider on the right to view and simulate the actual molding process, checking whether all unsupported areas of the model have complete support before starting 3D printing.
Finally, click "Slice" to obtain the model slice file. After software calculation, detailed information will be displayed, including material resin type and printing time. Save the file to a USB (the extension needs to be saved as .ctb), and then load it into the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K to start printing.
