Since Cura 4.0 is an updated beta version, if you need to carry out important 3D printing projects, it is still recommended to use the current official version Cura 3.6 (downloadable here). If you are keen to try new software, the download link is provided at the bottom of the article. Below, we will detail the five key features mentioned above:
1. "Custom Mode" interface: After user feedback on the initial beta version of Cura 4.0, the official team adjusted the "Custom Mode" interface to allow users to select the parameter settings they want to display based on their needs; the object movement axes remain between the numerical adjustment screens.

(More 3D printing parameter settings can be adjusted in custom mode)
2. Cloud Backup: "Cura backups" has been incorporated into Ultimaker Cura and can be found in the "Extensions" menu. When logging into your Ultimaker account, use this option to back up your Ultimaker Cura settings to the cloud, making them easily accessible on any different computer.
3. Plugin Rating Mechanism: After logging into your Ultimaker account, feedback for plugins will be available in the "Marketplace." By evaluating their experience, users can help each other find the most suitable plugins for their applications and provide valuable feedback to the contributors.

4. Improved "Marketplace": The official team has improved the supported websites displayed in the "Marketplace," which will feature more detailed product descriptions and direct links to websites for ordering materials.
5. Remote Printing Function: Send 3D printing jobs from anywhere in the world via the internet to an Ultimaker 3D printer and monitor the print progress; keep track of all developments no matter where you are. Currently, one Ultimaker printer can be connected to one Ultimaker account, and this feature will be activated with the release of firmware 5.2 beta (this firmware beta will be released soon).

(Use an Ultimaker account for the best experience)
