【3D Scanning Application】EinScan SP Unboxing: Double the Speed and Accuracy!

[3D Scanning Application] EinScan SP Unboxing Review: Double the Speed and Accuracy!

Not long ago, we used the SHINING series 3D scanners to test the 3D scanning effects ( click here to see more). Friends who follow 3DMart must have noticed on our official website that the "EinScan SP scanner" is very similar to the "EinScan SE scanner," but with double the scanning speed and accuracy! Today, let's unbox it for you:

First, connect the "EinScan SP" 3D scanner to the software. The system will display the "calibration" procedure. Just follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the calibration, and you can start scanning in 3 minutes!

EinScan SP comes with a detachable stand and tripod. When scanning small objects, you can choose the fixed scan mode. Within the fixed scanning range, you can quickly create accurate 3D models.

We used the fixed scan mode of the SP to 3D scan Thanos, printed with light-curing. The turntable automatically rotates 360 degrees during scanning, and the scan can be completed in just 3 minutes, balancing high-speed scanning with detailed accuracy.

Don't worry when scanning large objects. Just use the tripod to fix the scanner and connect it to the scanning turntable, and you can freely control the distance and angle between the scanner and the object.

Next, we used the tripod scanning mode to 3D scan King Kong, printed with Ultimaker. When scanning objects with complex details, you can adjust the tripod angle as needed. The SP automatically calibrates the model position, significantly improving the completeness and speed of 3D scanning. It only took 10 minutes to complete the King Kong scan!

For the same 3D model, we used SE and SP for 3D scanning. The SP only took 4 seconds for a single scan, and 10 minutes to obtain a complete 3D model of King Kong, while the SE required 20 minutes, which is twice the time of the SP!

The SE mainly uses fixed-point scanning. Due to its limited scanning range, it is more suitable for scanning small objects. With a budget of 50,000 NTD, it is a 3D scanner with excellent accuracy and speed. The SP is suitable for objects of unlimited size, has a wider range of applications, and is twice as fast and accurate as the SE. Compared to the industrial-grade "EinScan Pro 2X+," it is a 3D scanner with extremely high cost-effectiveness!
