while adding and improving exciting new features like Cura Connect.
Highlights of Firmware 4.0
Cura Connect. This firmware update adds Cura Connect to your Ultimaker 3 - a new feature that allows you to control multiple Ultimaker 3 printers from a single interface.

Frame light notifications. When the Ultimaker 3 requires user action, the frame lights will cycle through 30%-100% brightness in sequence to indicate that user action is needed. This occurs in the following situations:
•Authentication required - When the printer requires user action (e.g., connecting to Ultimaker Cura or adding to a new group in Cura Connect).
•Configuration changes - When the next print job requires a change in the printer's configuration (e.g., changing filament or print cores).
•Print completed - When a print job is finished, the user is prompted to clear the build plate for the next print job.
Reprint after abort. When a print is aborted, a new dialog option appears on the Ultimaker 3 interface, offering the option to retry the print.
Web interface. When connecting to the printer's IP via a browser to manage Cura Connect jobs, a webpage will be displayed (useful links).
Cancel guided leveling. The active leveling guide now includes an option to cancel in case of accidental selection.
Most recently added gcode files. The most recently added gcode files are now displayed as a separate option in the list for printing from USB.
Faster updates. Printer updates are now faster during installation.
New material profiles. Material profiles have been updated for the 0.8 print core.
USB logging. In the event of a critical error, logs and messages will be written directly to USB (if available) for troubleshooting.
Efficient material change. Material changes are more efficient by heating the print core as quickly as possible.
Major Bug Fixes
Z offset. The option to manually adjust the Z offset of the second print core has been removed. This can be done using manual leveling.
