Upon entering the Eslite main entrance, you'll see our Ultimaker display wall in the center of the pillars. The 3D printer will be continuously operating, so friends who haven't seen it yet can catch a glimpse of its charm. Next to it, we also display FDM specific filaments and a video introducing the use of 3D printers in industrial environments, allowing children to better understand the peripheral applications of 3D printing; additionally, we have specifically lowered the display height, hoping that both adults and children can see it.
All kinds of fidget spinners are in the small box in front of the Ultimaker 3D printer. As long as you make a purchase at the Eslite Twin Cities store, you can redeem a 3D printed fidget spinner for free with your receipt! Limited quantity daily, while supplies last!
The fidget spinner is made of PLA, printed in one piece using an Ultimaker 3D printer, completely assembled-free, and without additional bearings (commercially available rotating shafts). It has four rotating axles, all of which can spin; from the latest version of Cura 4.0 slicing software, you can see the internal structure. The rotating axle uses a gradient shape similar to a diabolo, allowing it to spin smoothly without support material and without falling off.
Since no support structure is needed, we also used Ultimaker's dual nozzle system to print some dual-color styles. When placed together, you can fully experience the difficulty of choice, as each person is limited to one per day, so if you want to collect them all, you'll have to come every day!
