The Kaohsiung Maker Faire in Southern Taiwan has successfully concluded. The venue was filled with creative DIY crafts and educational science activities. Both adults and children had a great time! Let's take a look back at the grand event. Upon arriving at the Kaohsiung Zhongzheng Martial Arts Stadium, visitors were greeted by numerous welcome posters. On the central stage outside, children showcased their performances, all putting in great effort.
There were also stage presentation events inside, and 3DMart was invited to explain the technology of 3D printing and present cases where it has been used for handicrafts.
It was a rare opportunity to exhibit in Kaohsiung, so we applied for three booths and filled them with exhibits to allow everyone to see all three technologies at once (Further reading: A comparison of three 3D printing technologies).
Not only that, we even brought two Ultimaker series 3D printers, an Ultimaker S5 and an Ultimaker 3, and printed gifts on-site.
The editor managed to take photos of the complete display before the opening. As soon as the exhibition opened, people immediately started asking questions, and the children who came in later were even more curious and lively! Whenever 3DMart participates in an exhibition, professionals are always on-site to provide technical explanations.
Many DIY booths were packed with people. This exhibition featured some small robots and remote-controlled transport planes. It's clear that technology is gradually entering schools, and both adults and children understand the basic concepts of 3D printers. The speed at which everyone acquires new knowledge far surpasses what 3DMart observed in other exhibitions two or three years ago.
