Throughprofessional techniques, the 3DMART Bear is now dressed in a new silver outfit!
Bear's dressing process:
First, print an ABS bear using 3DMART'sLulzbot Mini!
Utilizing the property that ABS dissolves in acetone, the bear is placed in a sealed box containing acetone, and the highly volatile acetone vapor is used to treat the bear's surface!
Even with just acetone treatment, the bear already has a very shiny appearance!
Then, just hand the bear over to the manufacturer for electroplating. A few days later, the bear appeared in the 3DMART office wearing a noble and gorgeous silver outfit!
