Do you all remember the exquisite chess set we displayed at MakerFaire???
Many friends were very curious about it at the time,
and kept asking about the type of material and how to print it,
as well as the relevant printing parameters.
Today, we're going to "WikiLeak" some information for everyone!~
First, let's feel the tense atmosphere of two armies facing off, haha XD

What machine was this chess set printed with??? This photo has already given it away!
It was printed with our very own Ultimaker2+ 3D printer~
The Ultimaker2+, which can use almost any filament, is a dream toy for me (just kidding XD)
The filaments used were ColorFabb's wood-like materials: WoodFill Fine and Corkfill.
First, let's present Corkfill. The brown color of this filament is very rich and even, and the texture is off the charts!~

The other filament used was WoodFill Fine. Its color gives a fresh wood feel, and it even reflects a little!

Other printing parameters were set via the slicing software Cura:
Layer height: 0.2mm
Nozzle temperature: 200°C
Print speed: 40mm/s
You're not mistaken! The layer height is indeed 0.2mm. The material properties make the layer lines barely visible, giving it a delicate texture comparable to a 0.1mm layer height!

Not only does it have a beautiful appearance, but it also emits a special woody aroma when printing. Quickly print a set to play chess with family and friends and strengthen your relationships!~
