[3D Printing Materials] Brass 3D Printing Material Turns Your 3D Printer Into a Metal Workshop!

Tired of the plastic feel of 3D printed ABS and PLA? ColorFabb hears you! This 3D printing material, a blend of 80% brass powder and 20% PLA/PHA, is three times heavier than regular PLA, giving a substantial metal feel. When you lightly touch the surface of the finished product, the cool sensation of metal is refreshing. The surface of newly printed objects is uniquely rough. Unlike regular PLA, which is not ideal for post-processing, this metal 3D printing material is very easy to polish. With simple processing, it can emit a metallic luster. You can freely choose how to present the finished product, unlike any other 3D printing material on the market! The 3D printer used for the samples below is anUltimaker 2!

TIPS!
1. Because post-processing, such as sanding and polishing, is required to make the material reflective, it is not recommended to print overly complex shapes to simplify post-processing.
2. Post-processing will thin the 3D printed object, so we recommend setting the outer shell thickness to at least 0.8mm before printing.
.
3. Since this 3D printing material is not made of pure metal but a PLA mixed with metal powder, it is not conductive.
