Do you remember the previous sharing about [3D Printing Materials] nGEN, Engine - Can't Tell the Difference??
This time, we completed another component of the 22RE four-cylinder engine, but the material used this time is the familiar PLA.
In addition to being environmentally friendly, PLA has the advantages of lower warping, good dimensional accuracy, high product hardness, and the simplest printing process.
However, it also has the disadvantages of being brittle and having low temperature resistance. Nevertheless, ESUN PLA+'s unique formula increases its toughness to 10 times that of ordinary PLA.
The colors are saturated and vibrant, and it's very easy to print. Let's take a look at the finished product we printed using ESUN PLA+ Light Blue below!

Printing Parameters:
Machine Used: Ultimaker 2+
Slicing Software: Cura 15.04.5
Material Used: eSUN - PLA+ Light Blue
Nozzle Diameter: 0.4mm
Layer Height: 0.15mm
Printing Temperature: 195C
Printing Speed: 45mm/s
Support: Enabled (30% fill amount, 0.15mm Z distance)
Printing Time:
Approximately 30 hours

PLA+'s color is more saturated than before, enhancing the strength and toughness of the filament itself, making it easier to print and maintaining good roundness!

A good machine can make your work twice as efficient. If paired with good filament, it's truly exceptional!
