[3D Printing News] Print Your Own Architectural Models

Young people nowadays lament not being able to afford a house, only able to gaze longingly at beautiful buildings they can't own. Since buying a house isn't an option, let's at least get an architectural model to satisfy the craving.
Let's create our own buildings with 3D printing!
This time, we used the
Ultimaker 3 to print small architectural models, using PLA silver filament, combined with water-soluble PVA for support. Let's take a look at the models before they were soaked in water!

After soaking in water, the PVA support structures completely dissolved, revealing exquisite architectural models.
First, let's look at the first modern building. Its streamlined shape is very eye-catching. Upon closer inspection, we can see that the text at the top of the building is meticulously detailed, and the layout of the circular area above is also clearly visible.

The second one is a residential house. Don't underestimate its ordinary appearance; the interior of the house actually features various furniture accessories, all printed with exquisite detail, almost identical to a professional architectural model.

The third building, a skyscraper, clearly displays the dense vertical lines, and many details can be seen in the curved areas next to it!

Finally, a group photo! They really look impressive when displayed together.

If you are an architect or an architectural model enthusiast, you can consider using our Ultimaker 3 3D printer to showcase your excellent designs and collections. For any needs, please feel free to contact us!
