Confirm the port name:

- For Mac systems, select a name starting with tty.usb.
- For Windows systems, confirm the port name that appears during connection (e.g., COM1, COM2, COM3...). If you are unsure which port number it is, first open the port options, remove the USB cable connected to the machine, and confirm which port number disappears. That is the correct port to select.

If connected to the wrong port, the connection button will be orange; if correct, it will be green.

- Start Engraving -

Focus

Rotate the focusing ruler downwards, then pull down the laser head until the focusing ruler just touches the material. Then move the focusing ruler back to its original position. Always confirm the correct focal length before each engraving.

Import engraving test file

Click "Menu" > "File" > "Examples" > "Swiftray Examples".

Preview engraving position:

After importing the file, click "Run Border." The laser head will emit a light spot to preview the border of the engraving pattern. If the light spot is not clear, you can temporarily remove the orange laser shield and put it back before starting the engraving.

After clicking "Start," the machine will begin engraving.

Its incredible speed is achieved thanks to a high-performance chip, allowing for high-speed engraving of up to 300 mm/s, and it also features excellent 1000 DPI laser engraving, truly achieving high speed, high efficiency, and high quality!

If the engraving effect is blurry, unclear, or light in color: first check if the focal length is correct.

If the focal length is correct, it is recommended to check material applicability / parameters / clean the laser head. Please see troubleshooting here: Lazervida - Material cannot be cut.
