Those who follow 3DMart's new products may have noticed many new items quietly being added recently. In the future, we will offer more 3D forming technologies and services, including SLM metal printing, CNC machining, and laser engraving machines. Please stay tuned!
Today, we're introducing the new dual-extruder model from the LulzBot 3D printer brand: the LulzBot TAZ Pro is officially on sale. After Ultimaker launched its independent dual-extruder 3D printer, other manufacturers quickly followed suit. While Ultimaker still holds the top spot for print quality, the LulzBot TAZ Pro is a viable alternative in terms of price.

The new TAZ Pro is capable of dual-material 3D printing, with a build volume of 280 x 280 x 285 mm for large objects. The company's CEO stated: "The TAZ PRO will be the first independent dual-material system 3D printer in the series, featuring two independent feeding heated nozzles." The TAZ Pro incorporates hardened steel E3D components into the new 3D printing model, including nozzles with a 360-degree cooling system to 3D print two filaments in the same part, including manufacturing prototypes with elasticity and low hardness of Shore 85A.
Using the hardened steel parts of the TAZ Pro, polymers such as water-soluble, conductive, high-strength, and chemical-resistant materials can be 3D printed. These materials are too abrasive for general consumer-grade 3D printers that use 1.75mm filament, but they become printable expanded materials on this TAZ Pro model. However, since the Ultimaker S5 has developed a harder ruby nozzle for carbon fiber materials, we still recommend checking the hardness before printing special materials to avoid damage to the 3D printer.

The new TAZ Pro 3D printer features a Z-axis belt drive, which shortens cycle times and increases throughput. The belt drive also reduces the impact of Z-axis wobble, and the new three-axis backlash compensation system improves part quality and accuracy. Additionally, new features include filament runout detection and low filament alerts.
