Mobedia is an international digital learning platform that utilizes cutting-edge technologies such as VR, 3D models, interactive tools, and 3D printing to provide immersive experiential learning and content development. The team combines software and hardware design, including movies, animations, and 3D modules, to create outstanding interactive digital learning experiences. Recently, they collaborated with Kia Motors UK to develop a 3D printed experience kit, launched in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the Kia Sportage.

The new Kia Sportage boasts a series of improved features, along with the latest exterior and interior designs, new safety equipment, and entertainment technology, as well as a high-efficiency powertrain that meets future emission standards, solidifying its position as one of Europe's best-selling models.

The dealership team can gain a learning experience through this Kia online academy, which helps them provide effective product demonstrations, test drives, and vehicle swaps for customers when selling cars, making for more personalized marketing functions.
To increase engagement and understanding, these learning experiences include:
. Interactive build design, allowing users to build and understand exterior features that are fully compatible with 3D printed models once completed.
. The video features a family engaging with the New Sportage and a 3D printed car to showcase their main features.
. 3D animations, gamification, and fun quizzes to help reinforce knowledge and engagement.
. This learning experience was produced by Mobedia in their Manchester city center studio, and the video content was filmed in Manchester.
Gary Bannister-Simm, Creative Director of the learning platform, emphasized: "Over the years, the Sportage has strengthened Kia's brand image, so we focused on the theme of 'building' as the main learning experience." The video also covers various accessories, including a full-color 3D printed display model of the exterior; there's also an assembled car body printed with Ultimaker to help users better understand the composition of each structure.

"The interaction between video and 3D printing bridges imagination and reality, blurring the lines between virtual and physical. It provides a sensory learning experience – the more real the experience feels, the more information can be conveyed while focusing on the product."

Karen Fagan, Training Manager at Kia Motors UK, said: "This project with Mobedia created customized learning, utilizing innovative methods to encourage learners throughout the process. This unique approach allows users to immerse themselves in the subject matter, leading to a deeper impression of the knowledge."

"This learning method also captures the spirit of the brand, and this diverse learning experience makes the entire outcome, process, and project execution very interesting!" By combining 3D printing with 3D visualization technology, users not only gain a visual sense of the exterior but also understand the characteristics of the interior and structure, achieving a personalized learning effect.

The application of 3D printing combined with other technologies is becoming more widespread. Although this project is not currently for sale to the public, if you own a 3D printer, you can also print your own car model; alternatively, we also provide high-quality printing services, using original machines to give you the same quality.
