Last week, we were honored to be invited to attend the 2015 Technology Trend Gold Award ceremony hosted by PChome, T客邦 (TechBang), and Computer King. The Ultimaker 2 3D printer won the Popularity Gold Award in the Maker Equipment category. Now in its eighth year, the "Technology Trend Gold Award" can be considered Taiwan's most prestigious and influential professional technology award. The Ultimaker 2 is the star that was nominated in the Maker Equipment category and won the Popularity Award! This high-quality 3D printer from the Netherlands boasts a minimum layer thickness of 20 microns and a print speed of 300mm/s. It has a sleek and elegant design, with a compact body yet a large print volume. Both its hardware and software are open source, ensuring high stability.
