【3D Printing News】Ultimaker 3D Printing Education Challenge!

The Ultimaker Education Challenge!

Are you a leader in your field of research?
Or an education pioneer?

Do you challenge your students to experiment, learn by doing, and discover their talents? If so, we believe you'll want to share your ideas and passion for teaching with other educators!

3D Printing Challenge
We are looking for creative and innovative educators who integrate 3D printing technology into their classrooms.
If this sounds familiar, then this activity will be a perfect challenge for you!
To participate in this challenge, you need to develop a new project, in the form of a lesson plan, that provides students with a hands-on learning experience, and this lesson should incorporate the use of 3D printers.

Want to participate? Here's what you need to do:
Fill out the project form at http://ultim.kr/umeduchallenge and upload your plan.
We accept files in various formats, and please note that good content will attract more attention!
If your project includes videos, STL files, or PowerPoint presentations,
you can simply provide a link through Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive, or any other easily accessible platform.
All winners will not only receive a 3D printer, many materials, and training, but will also be invited to join our Education Pioneer Program!
All winning projects will be uploaded to our education platform, inspiring and supporting other teachers worldwide.

Eligibility
Participants must be teachers and educators from schools. To join this challenge, you must submit a suitable project plan in the form of a lesson.
For example:

Participants will come from all over the world, including countries such as:
Australia, China, India, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, South Korea, and Japan.

All projects must be submitted in English.

Project Themes
Many themes are suitable for 3D printing. Showcase your creativity as much as possible.
It doesn't need to be a massive project; the most important thing is for your students to actively learn and enjoy themselves throughout the process!
Consider the 3D printer as a teaching tool that allows students and your ideas to take tangible physical form.
Regardless of age, 3D printers will teach you how to become a true innovator, creating new products that make the world a better place.
Who knows? Perhaps you'll inspire your students to become future manufacturers, product designers, marketing managers, project managers, entrepreneurs, or even teachers themselves.

Project Rules
• The project should be practical and suitable as a classroom lesson plan.
• The project must be developed by an educator for students.
• The project must be innovative.
• The project should include the following information:

About the Event
Ultimaker
From the beginning, our mission has been to develop high-quality, easy-to-use 3D printers, software, and materials to empower and inspire people worldwide to use 3D printing. Since 2011, Ultimaker has grown into a leading brand, with offices in the Netherlands, New York, and Boston, and production facilities in the US and Europe. With over 200 employees, 25,000 active community members, and a growing team, Ultimaker strives to provide the highest quality 3D printers, software, and materials, without compromise.

3D Printing
3D printing is an innovative technology that allows you to transform digital models into physical objects. It originated in the 1980s as "rapid prototyping" because its purpose was to quickly and easily create prototypes. Since then, the technology has continuously advanced, and today, 3D printers offer even more amazing results, allowing you to create anything you can imagine.

Ultimaker Pioneer Program
Over 100 educators from the United States have joined our new Pioneer Program, sharing their 3D printing experiences and helping each other achieve more projects. We hope to expand this program globally, encouraging educators to share, learn, and integrate 3D printing into their classrooms. Does this sound appealing? If you think so too, join us and become a great pioneer!

We are looking for proactive educators who are willing to learn and teach 3D printing. In your teaching, Ultimaker printers will be used in the classroom to help students expand their knowledge, enhance creativity, and develop skills in various subjects, from mathematics to art and beyond.
