[Unboxing and Review] Flashforge Resin 3D Printer, Four Times Larger Print Volume!

【Unboxing & Review】Flashforge Resin 3D Printer, Four Times Larger Object Size!

Same desktop size, but 4 times larger print volume? To meet the demand for large-sized objects or produce a large number of small parts, the "Flashforge Foto 13.3" LCD Resin 3D Printer" is now available! With a print volume of up to 292 x 165 x 400mm, we'll guide you through the unboxing and immediate review of its performance:
Using a 3D printer for sample development and batch printing requires efficiency! The common goal is to print the most objects in the shortest time. The Flashforge Foto 13.3 has a total capacity of 19 liters, which is 4 times larger than a typical resin 3D printer. In addition to printing larger objects, it can also efficiently batch produce jewelry, replacement parts, assembly models, and more.
First, unbox the Flashforge Foto 13.3 Resin 3D printer. Open the side-swinging doors to fully access the enclosed space inside the machine. Then, loosen the fixing knob above the print platform, remove the foam block in the middle, and you'll find a complete toolkit and resin material included.

Box contents include:
.1 bottle of Flashforge Resin
.Power cord
.User manual
.Metal / plastic scraper
.Brush
.Gloves
.USB
.Wrench
.Tweezers
.Pliers
.Filter paper

.Calibration 3 Steps
When first unboxing the equipment, to ensure stable and accurate operation, "calibration" is performed before use. The calibration procedure for resin 3D printers primarily aims to calibrate the 3D print platform and LCD panel system position through Z-axis calibration before printing:

1. Loosen the fixing screws
Remove the resin vat, and loosen the fixing screws of the print platform (the platform does not need to be removed).

2. Place paper, start with one click
Place 3 sheets of A4 paper on the LCD panel. Click "Tools" > "Z-axis movement" on the touchscreen, then click "Reset". At this point, the print platform will automatically descend until it is flush with the bottom LCD panel. During this process, the touchscreen will display the distance between the platform and the bottom panel in real-time. When the screen shows "Z: 0.00mm", it means the platform has fully descended to the very bottom.

3. Tighten screws, raise platform
After the platform is completely flush with the bottom paper and LCD panel, retighten the fixing screws of the platform. Pull the three sheets of paper back and forth; the standard is that they can be pulled but with some resistance. Finally, click "Home" on the screen, and the platform will rise back to the top, completing the Z-axis calibration.

(Confirm the above 3 steps and check if the bottom LCD curing light is on. Finally, lock the resin vat and you can start printing.)

Next, shake the photosensitive resin and pour it into the resin vat. The resin volume can be guided by the marking line inside the resin vat. Finally, close the 3D printer's light-shielding door.

.Start 3D Printing
1. Upload print file
On the touchscreen, click "Print", where you can choose a system preset model or upload a 3D model file via USB.

2. Click Start
When you click on the model to be printed, the screen will automatically display the model's appearance, estimated 3D printing time, layer thickness, and the name of the resin used. Once confirmed, you can start.

After the resin 3D printing is complete, the model's surface will be covered with liquid resin. Immerse the object in alcohol to clean off the residual resin, and then use a UV post-curing light to quickly cure the model. We printed a 3D printed dragon with dimensions up to 13 x 13 x 15.5cm. The delicate granules on its chest, the skin wrinkles on its wings, and the facial contours are all highly complete and detailed. You can create Titan monsters that Godzilla hasn't even played yet!
