The Creality LD-006 Resin 3D Printer is similar to the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 3D Printer we introduced previously (Click here to watch: Phrozen Mighty Resin Video Tutorial: Even articulated models can be printed!), both featuring a full-cover top structure, touchscreen control, and USB for uploading 3D printing files. The contents include a power cord, scraper, toolbox, and user manual.
There are many types of resin 3D printers, and the Z-axis calibration process is largely similar. Using the same concept, after unpacking the machine, open the full-cover casing and remove the accessories, then proceed with the 3 steps for Z-axis calibration:
1. Loosen the screws
Loosen the screws on the printing platform (just loosen, don't remove), and loosen the screws on the resin tank (need to remove).
2. Place paper, start calibration
The Creality LD-006 comes with a calibration card. Place it on top of the LCD panel, then on the touchscreen, tap "Tool" > "Manual" to manually adjust the Z-axis print platform's position; then tap "Set Z=0", and the print platform will automatically lower until it is flat against the calibration card at the bottom.
3. Platform returns, calibration complete
After it is completely flat against the paper and LCD panel at the bottom, retighten the retaining screws on both sides of the platform. Finally, follow the instructions on the touchscreen, and the platform will rise to the top again, completing the calibration.
．Quartz Lamp Beads, Upgraded Light Source
The Creality LD-006 Resin 3D Printer uses a new light source structure. The parallel UV light combined with LCD quartz lamp beads design allows for more uniform UV light exposure, ensuring printing quality and stable printing efficiency.
．Resin Tank Scale Reminder
Refer to the thoughtful scale reminder design on the Creality LD-006 resin tank. After pouring in the resin to be used, the machine is ready (be careful not to exceed the maximum resin level).
Click "Print" in the menu and select the 3D model slicing file from the USB (Click here for ChituBox Slicing Software Tutorial). The maximum print size can reach 192 x 120 x 250mm, which can meet the needs for various sample prototyping, models, and precise part testing in fields such as dental molds, jewelry, and model design.
