【Pressure Forming】Create Custom, Precise Models! Mayku Multiplier Unboxing Guide!

Do you need a method for creating precise prototypes, molds, or components for final products? Look no further! The Mayku Multiplier is the professional and incredibly easy-to-use pressure former you've been searching for. In this article, you'll learn everything you need to know for your first unboxing of the Mayku Multiplier. Let's start with the preparations! For your first use of the Multiplier, you will need the following:

1. A pair of scissors
2. An assistant to help you move the Multiplier (or get stronger if you're alone)

When you open the box for the first time, you'll see the unboxing kit. The Mayku Multiplier unboxing kit includes the following:

First, find a well-ventilated area, cut the straps with scissors, and open the top lid of the cardboard box. You will find a detailed quick start guide, along with a QR Code. Scan it to register your Multiplier for warranty and technical support. Inside, there is also a toolkit containing hex wrenches and a cleaning cloth for long-term maintenance of the pressure forming equipment; additionally, a complete user manual is included. We recommend reading the manual once before use to help you get started quickly.

Remove the foam and the outer cardboard box. Have an assistant lift the Multiplier from the bottom and place it on a stable surface.

Connect the power cable to the power port at the back of the Multiplier and turn on the power switch. Press the button with the letter 'N' to start the machine, then follow the instructions on the screen.

At the same time, enabling the analytics function can help the original manufacturer improve your experience with the Multiplier pressure forming machine.

Next, it's time for the unboxing test. After completing the setup, take out the sample from the unboxing kit to perform pressure forming. This sample is carefully designed to not only showcase the machine's performance but also to help you understand the details to pay attention to during the pressure forming process. Click on the screen to enter the Multiplier's menu, follow the on-screen instructions, and select the material and thickness you wish to use. For the first test, we recommend using 1mm white HIPS sheets.

Pull the handle up to open the top cover of the equipment. Place the material within the circular area of the forming zone. Push down to close the top cover and turn the locking mechanism on the top cover to secure the sheet in place.

Open the top cover again, and you will hear the sound of pressurization starting. The Multiplier will automatically heat the sheet to the specified temperature for different materials. The equipment will notify you automatically when the temperature is reached.

As the heating process nears completion, place the forming sample on the forming area. When the screen prompts that the sheet has reached the heating temperature, quickly press down the top cover, slide the locking mechanism at the bottom, and then press the 'O' forming button.

You will hear the sound of compressed air. The forming pressure during the process will reach up to five tons. After the automatic cooling process is complete, the air in the pressure chamber will be released.

Once completed, unlock the bottom slider, open the Multiplier, remove the formed sheet, and remove the original sample.

It is crucial to verify the quality of the forming and the forming score on the Multiplier. The scoring system helps you understand the outcome of the forming process and provides guidance for improving forming effectiveness.

The inspection scope includes appearance, size, and detail, ensuring that the finished product has no obvious defects or missing corners and meets design requirements. Using the scoring system on the Multiplier, you can understand the success of the molding, such as surface smoothness, detail, and material uniformity. If there are any issues or room for improvement in the finished product, you can also refer to the suggestions or tips in the user manual to adjust the molding process.
