2. Handheld Scanning + Large Turntable
You can choose to connect to a computer or a mobile phone. With the dedicated Revo Scan software, you can edit and optimize 3D models for secondary creation. The comprehensive backend editing functions such as "Clip," "Mesh," "Simplify," "Fill Holes," and "Align" can be used to adjust and merge modeling operations. In addition, it supports multiple software and file formats, including the three most common file formats: PLY, OBJ, and STL, and is compatible with most professional design software and 3D printers, perfectly realizing a comprehensive creation experience of scanning, editing, and output.
Connecting to a Computer
Connect the USB data cable to the computer, open the software, and it's plug-and-play, no settings required.
After opening the software, the top left shows the binocular infrared scan, and the bottom right shows the color capture lens. You can instantly monitor the current scanning status. The large area in the middle of the screen displays the current 3D scanning construction. The bright areas are the currently scanned regions, while the gray areas are not yet scanned, making it easy to identify which areas have been scanned, simple and intuitive to operate! The right-hand column displays the distance judgment between the scanner and the scanned object. Orange indicates too close, while green indicates the optimal and better distance. Try to keep it within the green range. It effectively supports long-distance scanning from 300mm to 800mm. The single scan range is 360*650mm@600mm.
RANGE's new aspherical lens has a single-frame repeatability of up to 0.1mm and 3D point cloud data of 0.3mm. The high-precision calibration system can perfectly output professional-grade high-definition scanned images. Scanning objects are categorized into general objects, dark and black objects, and human bodies. You can choose the best scanning scenario based on the object being scanned. If the object has black parts, it is recommended to choose the dark and black object option for easier capture.
Using it with a large turntable is even more convenient, capable of carrying super large objects weighing 200 kilograms. The remote control can operate clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, so you don't have to worry about difficult scanning for even the largest and heaviest objects.
To achieve a better outdoor experience, the "handle's built-in power bank" provides complete wireless freedom for handheld scanning, with an extended battery life of up to 2 hours. Additionally, there is a "phone holder" and a "detachable tripod" that can be used for different needs and scenarios. Whether it's fixed scanning, portable handheld, indoor scanning, or outdoor operation, you can seamlessly switch and create freely without limitations!
