Netflix's original series "Stranger Things" is the ultimate homage to 80s fantasy and sci-fi themes. Even though the series has ended, many are sure to rewatch it. The show is full of tributes to that era, evoking a sense of nostalgia for that retro aesthetic, no matter your age! If you're interested in "Stranger Things," this sci-fi horror show, or 1980s pop culture, here are some cool "Stranger Things"-inspired creations.
Light Box with Hidden Mind Flayer Shadow

This light box looks harmless and appealing enough... until the lights come on and the Mind Flayer begins to torment us. The creator made this light box and has updated it several times based on reviews and feedback, so there are multiple versions and different setup suggestions. A layer height of 0.2mm or 0.1mm with an 8% infill should achieve the desired effect. Although it takes about 7 hours, we think it's well worth it. Finally, if your printer is a Bambu Lab A1 Mini, another Maker has shared their print profile for smaller print beds.
Vecna

Vecna is an antagonist in "Dungeons & Dragons," and the protagonists find him very similar to this character. In "Dungeons & Dragons," Vecna is a mortal who ascended to godhood. He is vengeful and grotesque in appearance. His ability to cast high-level spells, combined with his divine status, makes him one of the most powerful villains in the D&D universe. However, we can only reveal so much about Vecna to avoid spoilers! If you've already finished the series finale, then check out Vecna's new look in Season 5; perhaps you'll want to 3D print it. Like many 3D printed busts, Vecna does not require any supports, and the creator uploaded the bust separately from the base, so you won't have any issues if you want to print the parts with different materials or colors. Demogorgon Statue

Unleash the Demogorgon—this highly detailed 3D printed statue is inspired by the iconic creature from "Stranger Things." Standing proudly at about 15 cm tall, this impressive model captures the terrifying presence of the monster from the Upside Down. It's the perfect choice for fans of horror, sci-fi, and collectible statues.
Demogorgon Phone and Controller Holder

This Demogorgon holder is a functional display stand. Its design is both practical and eye-catching, turning a simple holder into the focal point of your gaming setup. Use the Demogorgon holder to keep your essentials upright and readily available: Smartphone holder (perfect for charging, checking notifications, or watching livestreams) Game controller holder (a neat, stylish way to display your controller between games) Also suitable for small items like remotes or handheld devices, depending on size. Whether guarding your controller like a cherished trophy or gripping your phone like the key to a portal, this piece instantly adds atmosphere to any desk, bookshelf, or livestream background. Dark fantasy vibes, the imposing presence of a monster sculpture, and just the right amount of "what is that?" to spark a conversation.
Demogorgon Keychain

It's the Demogorgon, we should be afraid! But it's also cute and its design is practical. We're not sure what to make of this model... The designer shared three printing options: the first includes a keychain attachment, suitable for multi-color 3D printers. The second option does not include a keychain; the third is for single-color 3D printers. PLA material works very well, as demonstrated by many shared prints.
Alphabet Lights

These string lights might look like ordinary Christmas lights, but in the context of "Stranger Things," this decoration is also perfect for Halloween! However, it wouldn't be complete without a set of 3D printed letters hanging beneath the string lights. In the first season, Joyce Byers used this setup to track supernatural activity in the Upside Down through flashing lights and communicate with Will. To faithfully recreate the series, these printable letters even use the original font. Each letter has a hole in the top half for hanging, or they can be attached to the wall with double-sided tape. They can also be easily resized to fit any size lighting fixture.
Stranger Things Themed Lamp

This "Stranger Things" themed lamp is absolutely stunning, with contrasting colors that perfectly showcase the tranquility of Hawkins and the chaos of the Upside Down. Notably, the creator chose a more complex project, using an Arduino Nano to control some of the red lights to produce a lightning effect similar to what's shown in the series. So, while this might not be the simplest option on the list, it certainly makes for an interesting challenge. The creator provides all the necessary documentation, so even if you're new to Arduino, you won't have trouble finding information. And, as this very cool creation demonstrates, it is entirely reproducible.
