【Unboxing Tutorial】SUNLU 3D Printer Filament Dryer Box: Humidity Control is a Breeze!
High environmental humidity! How to store 3D printer filament? The average humidity in Taiwan is above 70%RH. If 3D printer filament is stored in a room temperature environment, the filament will absorb moisture from the air. If it is directly installed and used in a 3D printer while damp, the printed object's surface may appear rough or grainy, and it could even damage the nozzle. The "SUNLU FilaDryer S1 3D Printer Filament Dryer Box" is compact and space-saving, with easy one-button humidity settings. It's super simple to use; check out the tutorial steps now:

II. Usage Steps
1. Unbox and remove
Take the SUNLU FilaDryer S1 out of its outer box, open the lid, and remove the internal foam (the power supply is inside the foam).

2. Plug in the power supply
3. Place the 3D printer filament inside
The internal space of the SUNLU FilaDryer S1 is approximately 80 x 210 x 270 mm, which can accommodate one large roll of filament (about 750g), or two small rolls of filament (about 350g).

4. Thread the 3D printer filament end through the hole
The SUNLU FilaDryer S1 dryer box has two filament output holes on its lid. Thread the filament through the hole (if there is no immediate 3D printing need, simply leave it inside the box).

5. Temperature Setting
The humidity inside the dryer box is primarily adjusted using the left/right buttons and displayed on the digital screen. After setting the temperature, long-press the left button to access the time setting.
.Left button (increase temperature)
.Right button (decrease temperature)

6. Connect to a 3D printer
Using a Prusa 3D printer as an example, once the 3D printer filament reaches the specified humidity, take the filament end out of the SUNLU FilaDryer S1 dryer box via the port and connect it directly to the 3D printer, allowing the material to be 3D printed in its optimal state. When starting 3D printing, keep the SUNLU FilaDryer S1 system running to continuously provide moisture protection for the 3D printer filament.

7. Dehumidification complete
The FilaDryer S1 dryer box includes a hygrometer that displays the real-time status of the 3D printer filament. Users can monitor the status of their 3D printing operation at any time, enhancing overall process stability.
