．Confidentiality and Security Firewall
Using Ultimaker Digital Factory to connect every Ultimaker 3D printer over the network often raises concerns about data leakage, which is especially important for businesses! With the updated firmware, you can manage it using Ultimaker Essentials. Select the "Enable Firewall" function in the menu to strictly control network security and block users from other network sources. ．Static IP for Remote Operation
Enterprise production teams can set a fixed IP address via USB. By connecting via WiFi with a static IP address, each Ultimaker 3D printer can be controlled more stably and conveniently, effectively improving the organization's operational efficiency.
1. Download the ultimaker_network.config file (Click here to download)
2. Insert/transfer the ultimaker_network.config file to your Ultimaker S3 / S5 3D printer via USB.
3. In the network menu, select "Setup network via USB", then click "Import From USB" and choose the ultimaker_network.config file.
．Filament Menu Breakdown: Brand, Color, Material
Previously, users could only choose "Material Type." The upgraded firmware interface now displays a more detailed classification, allowing users to select by "Brand," "Type," and "Color" (in addition to displaying Ultimaker original 3D printer filaments, third-party material parameters downloaded from the Marketplace will also show detailed options.)
