[Vacuum Forming Application] Mold Duplication Function Reimagined, DT2 Operation Tutorial!

【Vacuum Forming Application】Mold Duplication Function Re-evolutionized: Vaquform DT2 Operation Tutorial!

Desktop vacuum forming machines have always been very popular. Their lightweight and convenient design allows you to enjoy the fun of mold duplication at home! Today, 3DMart is unboxing the "Vaquform DT2 Vacuum Forming Machine," which boasts powerful performance. Watch the full process here:

The vacuum-formed object we used in the video is a human face model printed with an Ultimaker S5 3D printer and PLA filament, and then processed with an alcohol polishing machine.

The surface of the 3D model has no obvious sharp edges, which challenges the fit and detail, but it also makes the editor even more excited for the actual test results of the Vaquform DT2!

The Vaquform DT2 offers a rich variety of original material sheets. This time, we chose to use 0.5mm HIPS (white) and 0.5mm PETG (transparent) vacuum forming material sheets for the plastic molding tutorial.

The biggest difference from the FormBox is that the Vaquform DT2's digital screen visualizes all functions, making the operation steps simpler and clearer. Before starting to heat, you can set the heating temperature, material sheet type, suction strength, thickness, and other data according to your needs. Even a 1°C precision difference can be adjusted manually, greatly improving the completeness and detail accuracy of the mold.

The internal ceramic heater of the Vaquform DT2 can reach a maximum temperature of 280°C. During heating, be extra careful not to touch it with your hands to avoid burns. Follow the steps to correctly use the handle, and you can easily and safely get started!

The Vaquform DT2 comes with a built-in vacuum pump, handling all vacuum forming functions. After vacuum forming the realistic 3D printed human face model, the concave and convex textures on the surface of the finished product are very delicate.

The desktop Vaquform DT2's high-airflow vacuum function allows for the creation of industrial-grade plastic shrink-formed objects. By following simple steps, everyone can infinitely replicate their creations, making it also very suitable for mass production and packaging. Want simpler applications?
