The annual Makerfaire, a grand event gathering various creative makers, was held from November 4th to 5th at Huashan 1914 Creative Park and concluded successfully yesterday. Despite the continuous drizzles and cool weather, the number and enthusiasm of visitors remained high.

Let's take a look at the samples and machines exhibited by 3DMART this time!

This time, we brought two machines: the Ultimaker3 3D printer and the Polysher alcohol polishing machine, along with many samples of various sizes!

On site, there's a small dual-color 3D printed electric drill.

The rolling ball design, only achievable with a dual-nozzle setup, was printed using both PLA and PVA. The orange rolling ball sample (left) is what remains after the water-soluble PVA support material has fully dissolved, while the blue sample (right) shows it before dissolution.

The eye-catching video game character - the imposing Durotan from World of Warcraft, whose fierce appearance is quite intimidating. You can examine the details on his body; it's indeed printed with an Ultimaker 3D printer, capable of flawlessly reproducing intricate details.
This piece requires multi-part printing, and with PVA water-soluble filament, the supports can be easily removed without disassembly. If you're interested, you can purchase and download the 3D file here.

The most time-consuming masterpiece - Thor's Hammer, as if it was intentionally synchronized with the movie's promotion. In reality, it's just a large toy we printed because we liked it. The printing time was very long, requiring it to be split into five separate prints. After printing, it was sequentially sanded, painted, and glued together, a truly painstaking work. As expected, it successfully attracted many people's attention at the exhibition, with many rushing to take photos with it.

In the middle, covered by an acrylic case, is Endo the robot, which was introduced in the previous article! It stands prominently in the center for everyone to admire.

The 3D printed tube gun, a collaboration with JSPB, features a two-color print on the gun body parts with the 3DMART logo. The designer, Lin Lian-yi, also attended the exhibition and took a photo with our booth~

During the exhibition, there were many enthusiastic and curious visitors. Our colleagues meticulously explained everything to them, hoping to deepen everyone's understanding of 3D printing technology and the features of Ultimaker 3D printers.

Introducing the application of dual nozzles and PVA water-soluble support material.

Introducing the finished product effect achieved with the alcohol polishing machine to visitors.

The entire 3DMART team sincerely thanks everyone who visited the exhibition and those reading this article. We will continue to strive to provide better services and introduce the latest 3D printing news to you. We look forward to your continued support and guidance in the future.
