[3D Printing Application] Robot gets a new CPE look and upgraded equipment

【3D Printing Application】Robot CPE Makeover

As mentioned in a previous article, all the parts of the skeleton robot 'Endo' were 3D printed. The main body consists of 74 parts, and the outer shell armor has 22
parts. All parts were printed using an Ultimaker3 3D printer, and this time we used three different colors and materials of 3D printing filaments for printing.

Almost all the joints of the robot are freely movable, allowing you to pose it however you like. Even in strange poses, it will comply without a single complaint.
Of course, we'll make sure it strikes a handsome pose!

The vibrant orange outer shell armor was printed using Orange Ultimaker PLA. PLA is very easy to print, offering high accuracy and low warping.
The robot's main body uses Dark Grey Ultimaker CPE, which offers high heat resistance, chemical resistance, and stability, while containing fewer volatile substances.
It is a filament that can replace PLA and ABS.
For the robot's joints, we used Black Ultimaker Nylon filament. Nylon filament's characteristics make it very suitable for connecting parts,
offering high toughness and abrasion resistance.
