II. Preparation
1. Assemble the equipment: Simply assemble the laser light pole, rigid document stage, and fill light.
(When scanning documents, magazines, oily paper, glossy books, etc., glare may appear. Please turn off the top light source and turn on the side fill light.)
2. Start the equipment: Plug the scan hand button cable (you can also choose to connect the foot pedal, one or the other), computer connection cable, and power cord into the ports at the back of the device, and turn on the switch at the back of the device's base.
3. Book cradle: For scanning books of a certain thickness, where the left and right sides of the book or document naturally curve, use the "V-shaped book cradle" provided with the CZUR M3000 Pro to fix its position. For scanning flat, single-sheet documents, simply place them within the scanning area.
4. Place books/documents for scanning: Place the book on the working platform. Check the M3000 LCD screen to ensure the entire black working mat area is covered and that no part of the desk or other items are visible, which ensures the scanner's smart algorithm functions correctly.
III. Using the Software

5. On the right, select "Color Mode" and "Paper Processing Method," set as needed, and click the icon in the bottom right to start scanning.
CZUR series scanners feature AI flattening technology. The software automatically displays a "book spine line," allowing you to align the book to the center. The system intelligently detects the actual curvature of the page and automatically flattens it, resulting in a flat scanned image.
IV. Scanning Operation
Taking a book as an example, after centering the document, simply turn the book to the desired page, and press the scan button / foot pedal / scan button in the software (choose one of three). Pressing the button completes the scan, with an average scanning time of only 1.2 seconds for a double page. After each scan, the software automatically displays the scan result.
V. Converting to Text File
CZUR M3000 Pro features an AI intelligent system that uses OCR text recognition (supporting 187 languages) to directly convert scanned images into Word, Excel, PDF, TIFF, TXT, and other output formats.
In the software, click on the "Scanner" mode, select the completed scanned file, and in the left function area: File Output > Word (OCR), you can immediately get the text file for that page.
VI. How to Use Finger Cots
When scanning thick books like dictionaries or encyclopedias, the pages may flutter and not stay fixed due to the book's curve during page turning. If you press with your fingers, the scanner will detect them. By using the yellow "dedicated finger cot" to press the edge of the book, the software will automatically eliminate the finger cot without any post-processing.
