【3D Printing News】Phrozen LCD 3D Printer: Slicing Software Tutorial!
We recently unboxed and introduced the "Phrozen Sonic LCD 3D Printer," a new addition to 3DMart, which received rave reviews for its impressive results. This time, we're providing a complete tutorial on its dedicated slicing software, "FormWare":
The demonstration uses a 3DMART test cube model for pre-printing preparation. What seems like a simple cube actually has intricate details on all six sides, with a central sphere, connectable structures, and extremely thin protruding edges that truly challenge the precision of Phrozen LCD printing.

If this is your first time using a Phrozen 3D printer, please calibrate the Z-axis with an A4 paper after unboxing. When the printing platform descends to the bottom and is flush with the paper, secure the platform with screws. Finally, pour the required resin into the resin vat.
After importing the model into FormWare slicing software, two areas requiring support structures, "red" and "yellow," will automatically appear on the object. Establishing adequate supports is crucial for enhancing stability during the printing process and ensuring the object does not collapse or get damaged due to gravity when at a 45° angle.
(Supports are "mandatory" in the red areas, and while "recommended" for yellow areas, it's still advisable to add supports to ensure the integrity of the 3D model.)
If the support structure overlaps with the 3D model, the software will automatically detect it and display an error in "red." Double-checking and adjusting the connection points before slicing can effectively save resin and improve integrity.

Once the pre-printing settings are complete, you can upload the sliced file and connect to the Phrozen Sonic via network or USB. Plus, purchasing this model includes the professional FormWare software! With a simple web upload interface and the printer's touch screen, users can easily follow the instructions.
(By entering the exclusive IP serial number provided by each Phrozen 3D printer on the webpage, you can easily log in and activate it for use.)

The delicate lettering on the 3DMART test cube, with a total length of 2cm and a thickness of less than 1mm, is still 3D printed very clearly.

All six sides of the 3DMART test cube have connectable structures, and the grooves on the protruding shapes are only 2mm wide, allowing them to serve as a business card holder for your desk.
The actual results are so amazing! We went an extra step and 3D printed Marvel's superhero "Thor." The lifelike wrinkles in his clothes, muscle distribution, and intricate details on his hammer are all incredibly impressive. Now, go make your own superhero! Did you think that was the end? The LCD 3D printed "Dragon" takes center stage! From the teeth, tongue, and whiskers to the dense scales on its back and slender claws, such complex details still maintain high-quality results. The editor has a soft spot for dragon models, and if treated as a work of art, it would definitely be a coveted collectible for many model enthusiasts.
