【Unboxing and Review】Picaso 3D Printer: Dual-Color, Dual-Material, Nozzle Switching in 5 Seconds!
The Picaso Designer X PRO 3D printer is a dual-extruder 3D printer that uses 1.75mm filament. It features patented JetSwitch technology, allowing for nozzle switching in just 5 seconds for fast dual-color or dual-material 3D printing. With its upward-opening door, the enclosed print chamber can reach an operating temperature of up to 380°C. Watch the unboxing and review now:
After unboxing the machine, the package includes a tool kit (e.g., screws, needle-nose pliers, assembly parts), two spools of 3D printing filament, and a power cord. What caught our attention was the vibrant and saturated color scheme of the tools included with the Picaso – opening the toolkit felt like seeing a toy model!

The Picaso Designer X PRO has a maximum print volume of 200 x 200 x 210mm. On both sides inside the machine, two spools of 3D printing filament can be placed. We used the original filaments included with the Picaso machine, silver PLA and ESUN PVA water-soluble filament, for dual-material printing.

As the 3D printing operates, the Picaso Designer X PRO's operating screen continuously displays real-time information such as print time, individual temperatures of the dual extruders, print bed temperature, and current completion percentage (%). This allows users to clearly monitor the production progress.

After the dual-color 3D print is complete, the PVA water-soluble support on the Warcraft - Durotan model must be dissolved in water to obtain the final product.

(Submerging the 3D printed model directly in water, without manual removal, will cause the water-soluble filament to gradually dissolve.)

(Observing the partially dissolved Warcraft model, the PVA on the body has completely dissolved, and the PLA body is smooth and flat, with no visible impact on its appearance. We look forward to the final dissolved effect.)
The Warcraft model is an assembly-type 3D printed model. This time, we tested the Picaso's printing capabilities using the intricate details of the upper body structure. The finished product shows clear muscle lines, intricate necklace details, braided hair, and various other high-quality structural elements. All four models in the Picaso 3D printer series are now fully available. The Designer X PRO 3D printer features a durable body, suitable for prototyping, small-batch production, and other industrial applications.
